Hi, my name is Sucky the dolphin. ( My name is pronounced Sooky by the way.) I would like to tell you about my life. I am one of the seven wonders of the sea. When I was born, I was able to read, write and talk. On my third birthday, a big boat came and captured me! After a few weeks I figured out that I was captured by a thing called a circus, and man wasn't that a terrible place! People crowded around me and they even threw things at me when I wouldn't speak. A person called Tequah the scientist also studied me. She even put needles into my flipper! I was so mad! One day I listened to Tequah talk to another scientist and she said she figured out why I can talk! She said I have human vocal chords, even though I have no idea what those are! I kept living in the circus until one day another scientist saw how poorly I was treated, and now I am living in the Hawaii Dolphin Society! I am treated much better now. That is all about my life.
